about me
I gravitate toward the intersection of opposites—I’m an extroverted introvert, equal parts indoor-cat cozy and outdoor-cat curious, and as comfortable in imaginative flow as I am in analytical structure. That balance between creativity and strategy is the foundation of my career.
With more than a decade of experience in editorial and marketing roles, I aim to create content—from SEO-focused blogs to catchy e-newsletters to feature-length magazine articles—that feels both artful and effective. My work lives largely in the design and lifestyle space, where I’ve covered everything from stunning homes and local artists to smart products and celebrity tastemakers (including dream-come-true interviews with Martha Stewart, Nate Berkus, and Bobby Berk).
After six years as a top editor at 5280, I recently transitioned into the wild world of freelancing. While home/design content will always be my bread ‘n’ butter, I also love diving into the stories that get people out the door—travel, food, culture, and adventure.
Born and raised in Indiana, I moved to Colorado in 2013. I live in an Englewood townhome with my husband Patrick, our squishy baby Owen, our spoiled cat Cricket, and 17 houseplants (and counting).
